When & Where Drops Happen
Drops can happen anytime, anywhere. Here's what to expect!
No Fixed Schedule
Drops happen spontaneously throughout the week, most often on weekdays at UC Davis.
Staff post in #new-drop-notifs whenever they're free.
Beyond The Campus
Dino drops can occur outside of campus and during weekends.
They will most likely happen in local events around Davis, such as the Farmers Market on Saturday and annual festivals.
Daylight Only
Worried about heavy time commitments? Being a dino-thusiast is flexible!
Many of our events and drops are flexible and we don’t require attendance at meetings! You can be involved at your own time and convenience!
What Happens During Drops?
During our general drops that are posted in #🔔new-drop-notifs🔔, our staff will disclose what type of drop is happening.

Still confused? Ask the staff member running the event, or head to #general-qna under "Support and Inquiries" on Discord for help from our mods.
Please don't DM staff directly, our channels are the fastest way to get answers!
What To Do
- Be respectful — most dinos are hidden outdoors to give everyone space
- Indoor hides only happen if the dropper says so — stay aware of others
- Trust the placement — every dino is reachable, never risk yourself
What Not To Do
- Don't damage plants, bushes, or property while searching
- Can't reach it safely? Leave it
- Don't ask staff when or where the next drop is
- Don't pressure staff — they're volunteering their time
Dino Limits
These regulations are in place to promote fairness and equal opportunity for all event participants.Anyone caught trying to bypass the dino limits will be banned from the server.

What To Do After Finding a Dino
Found a Triceratops?
After finding a triceratops, make a post in the #found-triceratops text channel. This post should include a photo proof of the triceratops.
Found an Aggieceratops?
After finding an Aggieceratops dino, make a post in the #found-aggie text channel. This post should include a photo proof of the triceratops.

Frequently Asked Questions
Type “/ticket open [subject]” command in the modmail channel to get moved to a private channel for your issue.
Use it for things like payment confirmations, friend pickups, or ad approval, not server suggestions or drama.
Personal business or social promo isn't allowed, since that's reserved for staff. Community and academic related posts like club events or class surveys are fine, but all ads need mod approval through modmail first.
Head to #triceratops-trades channel under the general chat category on Discord and coordinate directly with the other member.
React to the announcement message for that event, the same way you'd claim the Turtleceratops or Flash Sale Pick up roles.
Reach out through modmail on our Discord server if you can't make it to a scheduled pickup before you leave.
Production team recruitment opens periodically and is announced in the server. Applications stay open and onboarding happens as space allows, so not hearing back right away doesn't mean you were rejected.
