What Is A Flash Sale?

A quick overview of how flash sales work and claim limits!

A flash sale is one of your only chances to directly purchase a dino instead of earning one through a hunt.

Listings go up during the last 24 hours of each month in #listings, with random color, size, and listing time, so you'll need a bit of luck to catch one.

You can claim 1 regular and 1 medium flash sale dino per month, counted separately from hunted dinos.

Send Payment Promptly

After winning, you have 2 hours to send payment or your dino will be rerolled to another hunter. see the Payment section below for accepted methods.

Venmo

Send payment to @davistriceratops

Your payment is marked as confirmed once we like the transaction, so no need to follow up unless it's been a while.

Zelle

Send payment to davistriceratops@gmail.com

Since Zelle doesn't have a built-in "confirmation" step like Venmo, feel free to check in if you don't hear back within a couple hours.

Cash

Prefer to pay in person with cash? You'll need to open a ticket in #modmail on Discord first so staff know to expect a cash payment from you.

Please bring exact change as change won’t be available at pickup.

For all payment methods: include your Discord username, drop number, and dino type (color/size) in the payment message.
This is required to match your transaction to your win.

Picking Up Your Dino

  • Pickup dates, times, and locations are announced right away, with multiple opportunities each month.
  • Grab the @Flash Sale Pick-up role in
    #Flash-Sale-Info to stay updated on pickups.
  • Have your Discord username, drop number, and dino type (color/size) ready to present at pickup.

Can My Friend Pick Up?

  • Need a Friend to Pick Up for You?
    Open a ticket in #modmail on Discord to request it.
  • Send your request at least 1 hour before pickup time.
  • Avoid Last-Minute Requests. Requests made during pickup itself may be missed or not seen in time.

How Long Do I Have to Claim?

  • Dinos unclaimed for 11 months are considered abandoned and repurposed, given away to another giveaway participant.

    (e.g., an April 2024 flash sale dino must be picked up by March 31, 2025.)
