Yarn Types
The yarn types for most dinosaurs hold no meaning and are simply fun colors to own; however, special dinosaurs like the Aggieceratops or the Frankendino use unique combinations of yarn colors to stand out from the pack.
Dino Types
Every Triceratops dino is made with intention — from the yarn color of their body to the color of their horns. Understanding these details isn't just trivia, it's how seasoned hunters identify a dino mid-drop before anyone else does.
Monthly
Monthly Dinos are the most common dinos and are dropped by our staff members!
While the dino's yarn type can vary in many colors, a dino will have a distinct horn color respective to the month of the year.
Flash Sales
Flash Sale Dinos are dinos that are achievable through online giveaways on discord that usually occurs at the end of each month!
These dino's body and horn colors work similarly with the Monthly Dino's colors, but these dinos will cost money!
Event
Event Dinos are rare dinos attainable through events that we host online or on campus!
The Event Dino's appearances are often rare and hard to come by, so keep an eye out for our upcoming events through the year!
Aggieceratops
Aggieceratops are rare dinos attainable through time-extensive drops that may last throughout the day.
Each Aggieceratops is a unique design that alters a certain appearance, and utilizes on-brand UC Davis colors as its yarn.
Limited
Limited Dinos are time-limited dinos made with specialty yarn textures.
We cycle through certain limited dino types per year, so make sure to attain one before they become unavailable!
